Connect Your AI Assistant to Divan International
Divan International exposes its public program and story data through an MCP server. Connect it once, and you can ask ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or any other AI assistant about our programs, destinations, and student stories.
MCP Server URL
Access is public and read-only: your assistant can look up programs, destinations, and stories, but cannot submit or change anything.
01
Claude
- 1Open your profile menu, then go to Settings → Connectors.
- 2Choose "Add custom connector" and give it a name, for example "Divan International".
- 3Paste the server URL above, then select Add.
02
ChatGPT
- 1Open Apps and enable Developer mode. Note: ChatGPT warns that Developer mode can increase risk — review the warning before continuing.
- 2Choose "Create app" and give it a name.
- 3Paste the server URL above, then select Create.
- 4Enable the app from the chat composer before prompting it.
03
Cursor
- 1Open Settings → Tools & Integrations.
- 2Choose "New MCP Server" — this opens the mcp.json file.
- 3Add an entry whose "url" is the server URL above, save, then toggle it on.
04
Custom
- 1Copy the server URL above.
- 2Add it as a streamable HTTP MCP server — a name and the URL are all most clients need.
- 3Reload your AI client to load the tools.
If we ship changes to the app, refresh the connector in your AI client — assistants cache the tool list and may miss new tools until reloaded.
